Jersey’s Ross Davis (pictured above) was knocked out of the lawn bowls singles at the quarter final stage, suffering a 21-12 defeat to Fairul Izwan Abd Muin.
The Malaysian picked up four shots in both the sixth and seventh ends to lead 10-4, but Davis had reduced the deficit to 14-12 by the end of the 14th. Abd Muin found another gear though, and a further four was followed by a three to secure his spot in the semis.
Davis was Jersey’s only competitor in action on day 8 of the Games.
